Texas law already says 911 call recordings are public information (Tex. Att'y Gen. ORD-519, 1989). But 'public' doesn't mean instant — most people still have to file a request and wait.

We're proposing real-time public 911 call logs: time, location, call type, and response — visible as it happens. Minor safety-related delays allowed only in select situations (active scenes, victim safety, ongoing investigations), not as a blanket excuse.
