For all the steps forward Spider-Man Brand New Day takes, it still stumble backwards with how the film never addresses how Peter is able to afford rent. Like okay, the big roof room he has is a shitty, asbestos ridden area that’s cheap. Fine, but he still needs to actually pay rent lmao.
