Hello everyone! Many of you likely saw this image recently with the Apple TV+ 'Neuromancer' promotion. Some know, others don't, but this artwork is mine, created alongside actor & post-production artist Milton Menezes, as a personal project and a homage to the original Neuromancer romance

Should have also CC'd @tomflood.bsky.social on this as well. I want to support the artists I know and the ones I don't. Asking this out loud @flyingtrilobite.com b/c of my own ignorance: is there a proper way to acknowledge an artist beyond tagging when we are sharing? Should we share stuff at all?

Generally, sharing with credit and a link (to their social media if they’re on that platform; or to their website) is considered good form. If you want to share art and don’t know where it came from, try tineye.com image search (located here in Toronto!) and set to “oldest”.

More rare but appreciated, is if there’s an article with an amazing illustration that pops up in the link metadata when sharing, name the artist in your post. Like this dinosaur discovery illustrated by @bobnichollsart.bsky.social .
