I was camped near sizewell about 20 years ago when there was a big fire there, and we all were evacuated. Pretty scary. What was worse was there was a complete news blackout of it, the next day I tried to find out details and was told that none of it happened. Creepy AF

Just to clarify, the fire was in the power station, not nearby. The big siren was howling for hours and there were about 10 fire engines there. The reactor vented a cloud of steam into the sky making it looking like it had been hit with a missile.
