They had refrigerated trucks outside the hospital. Coworkers died, both from COVID and from carrylon/long COVID. The post-ICU part of their floor never happened b/c not enough patients survived the ICU. It is a modern fucking miracle that COVID wasn't The Plague or the Spanish Flu.
