In soccer St Pauli comes to mind and the I think you’re right about the Packers. MLS (the league) is single entity so probably would just say “how dare you, billionaires only,” but who knows?

I hope the DSA gets blamed if they do leave. I'm hoping though that AVT will show we have a commitment to a healthy vibrant city. I'm not a huge AvT fan bc it's wierd but if they can flex here they could earn their keep in my head Knight money being used well to keep basketball in Nike town

The team has an obligation to upkeep moda center in their previous agreement. They dont want to spend money, so they have let it deteriorate and the city is floating the idea of suing the team regarding this. so it is worse; the trailblazers are demanding more public money AND to drop the lawsuit.
