My favorite deliberate Hollywood misunderstanding of Iceland is the sequel to The Mighty Ducks where they face off against Iceland and it's all like, "ooo scary hockey team from the land of ice." They didn't do their research because hockey is barely played in Iceland. Should have been the Finns.
