Was just assigned 2 required AI courses about how to write prompts at work and I was so pissed off I was ready to start filling out retirement paperwork. But instead, I took the courses immediately so that I could leave negative feedback. One of the presenters said AI will work magic. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

It’s not magic. And without extensive training, it could not do my job. It cannot help me do my job better. I’ve been writing emails for 30 years and I know how to organize my thoughts into a coherent set of paragraphs and in this way, I solve problems. Writing emails is a small part of my job.

My job is very complicated and every issue that comes up is different from the last. It is not something AI can be trained to do. So enjoy your high electricity bills and your lack of water and your stinking noisy AI data centers. Easter Island on steroids bullshit.
