honestly having the biggest lol at jeanine pirro filing a twenty-page memo on a friday afternoon in july explaining how badly the trump administration fucked up "fixing" the reflecting pool

Ryan J. Reilly “paints a vivid and urgent portrait of… disarray”

BREAKING: The Trump administration has moved to drop its felony Reflecting Pool case against a former Olympic canoeist, admitting their allegations against David "Davey" Hearn don't hold water.

Are they trying to tell him to stop making them pursue bullshit charges?

Ответ для jakeofnotrades

No. He decided he didn’t want the facts to come out in court - his asinine drive with his entourage down the middle of the pool wrecked it.

Saw that “without” and my eyes aggressively rolled involuntarily

So, Trump slandered this poor man.

So did Jeanine Pirro!

IIRC, this information was publicly available before their dumbass indictment.

Is this all a result of discovery, or an acknowledgment of what was coming in discovery?

Or because the judge was going to look at the grand jury transcripts?

Such a good point, unfortunately. Evergreen, even, with this DOJ.

I hope the judge has words for these clowns before he dismisses this with prejudice.

Ответ для @kathmandu513.gobirds.online

I hope those words are at least a referral to the state bar for disciplinary proceedings. Get these people out of the profession.

How much longer do you think Pirro lasts after this?

Some career employee must have really put their job on the line for this to happen.

And over the weekend, Trump finds out and demands that Jeanine retract the dismissal. Amirite?

I initially thought you were crazy for thinking this. But that statement is just so pointed. I kind of think they are now.

Jeanine Pirro should be disbarred. They rushed to indict an innocent man to placate the ego of malignant narcissist Donald Trump. A gross abuse of justice.

Didn't she also indict "submarine guy?" Or was that someone else?

So do the American people get a refund from the contractor?

This is such a trivial point in this hilarious pratfall we could all see coming (hilarious except for Mr. Hearn, of course.) "Based on this request, USAO-DC received 695 megabytes of additional documents from DOI, which took days to review."

This is the cheapest, most obvious litigation tactic to quantify documentary evidence and to be persuasive as some sort of burden, requires the judge to never have meaningfully used a computer or overseen a case in which electronic data was an issue.

Ответ для Gladbags

If you argue burden, you talk about page-equivalents or discreet documents. Talking about megabytes - esp. here where it would include renderings and photos - is like trying to convince your teacher the 28pt font essay met length requirements. It's so minor, but so emblematic of shoddy it all is.

Thank you for posting this motion. Carry on!

What's with the low resolution grainy black and white photos in the filing? I took better photos with my Brownie box camera in the 1960s...

Blair Ditch Project

And entire twenty pages to say “So, what had happened was”

Going to show my ignorance here—so there’s no equivalent to FRCP 11 that applies to federal prosecutors. Anybody know why?

How long before Trump has them chanting "Hang Mike Spence!" ?

It lets the idiot who drove his motorcade on it before it had time to cure off the hook.

In simple terms, Hollywood can’t make this shit up.

Leave home for a couple hours and what the hell happened?

who's going to be the first to tell Trump to his face that he was wrong?
