The man who is basically defined by "never admit you lost" is setting up to appeal something he lost? Color me shocked.

I’m not sure what there is to appeal. The plaintiffs and defendants say the case is dismissed, so no appeal. The judge said there wasn’t a a case or controversy, so no jurisdiction. What relief would the plaintiffs seek? An order to stop the judge from saying mean things about them?

It’s also notable that DLA Piper, a large firm, is apparently taking on the case now. Oprison, a partner based in D.C., previously worked in the White House counsel’s office during the final years of the George W. Bush administration. Aburos is an associate who practices out of Miami.
