If you are able where you live & have multiple grocery stores shop them all. They do have different prices. I shop 4 different grocers (King Scoopers, Safeway, Walmart & Trader Joes) while running errands using grocery list updated on my phone. I NEVER make a seperate trip to a grocer. It's worked!

Thank you for the tip, Greg! I shop store sales, with Aldi being the best prices I can usually find. But the price of beef is through the roof everywhere, even chicken has gotten ridiculous. But I refuse to spend $35+ for a chuck roast..

Early Monday morning is when they reduce prices (experation dates) for meat not sold over week ends (busiest shopping days here in Denver at least) You either cook it as soon as you get it home or throw it in freezer
