A long time ago we used to admire "men" in uniforms... Now we despise them. Policing has always attracted men with fucked-up egos, like Scout leadership attracts pedophiles. There are some sincerely great cops out there, but increasingly, we see unthinking, unfeeling, horrible men in these rolls.
