Samsung is localizing its AI, but not its pricing. Its new China foldables integrate services from ByteDance, Baidu, Alibaba Qwen, Meitu and ModelBest, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 starts at 12,999 yuan. The launch comes as Huawei tightens its grip and Apple prepares its first foldable for China.
