3/ I could not stop him. I tried. So, yes, I’m gutted. The book release will be pushed back to the end of August so I can be with his sons, his brother, and this community—and have space to grieve him.

4/ The Illusion Machine will not be delayed beyond that because Ezra was insistent that I should not wait. “Release it now,” he kept telling me. He was so excited. He wanted the first signed copy. This is all the words I can find right now.

p.s. Amber, it sounds like you both took care of each other. Promise that you will take very good care of yourself. Losing strong, caring people who look out for us if we are victims of sex trafficking can be jarring. I'm guessing Ezra would always want you to make sure you take care of you.
