One of the myriad downsides of our era is that I can no longer use what I tend to refer to as "the t verb." Happily one has best, supersede, outplay, and any number of other synonyms to take its place. I've also stopped saying "not a fan of," which he's devoted to, but I don't really miss it. 🤷🏻♂️
