Still haven't seen season 3 yet, but I was VERY impressed with 1 & 2. Even with the changes they made, the series format meant they had time to take much more care over the adaptation (though I still love the movie). Really looking forward to The Vampire Lestat.

Isnt it though? I thought they adapted the book exceptionally well.

Queen of the Damned was my favourite of the book series for many years (until Memnoch) and I would love to see that interpreted by this team

This is why you’re one of my favorite YouTube creatives. We always seem to be on the same page. 😊 Note: while all three seasons are incredible television, The Vampire Lestat in particular was a disappointing for me as a fan of the books. It wasn’t an accurate adaptation, but still great TV.

I LOVED the first two seasons, and though l liked this new season, I struggled with the messiness of the narratives this time. It felt a bit chaotic and less coherent than the first two. Great elements, but too many moments were I felt a bit out of it and lost. At least for my experience.

We cannot allow this cast to be dressed by straights ever again.

It's on my watchlist.. but I've just acquired season 1-3 of Due South on DVD and my need for mounties is more than my need for vampires.

Right?! One of the best shows and this season was just AMAZING! (And, my time on set was as fantastic as the show itself!)

Just watched 1st episode of S3 it certainty grabs the attention.

I'm curious how Queen of the Damned is gonna be adapt. I recently found the comic adaptations which were superb. Vampire Lestat is still my fav of the first three books thou <3
