Not bizarre anymore. This practice is currently driving me bonkers and I refuse to click any of them. "Your childhood hero is now an asshole for supporting the torment Nexus." Well, I guess I'll just never know.

It's journalistic style to not include the subject's name in the headline if it's someone people haven't heard of (e.g. "Brooklyn high school student wins science competition") but this article presupposes you HAVE heard of Nelson. In other words, it's pure click bait.

Yes! That's why it's so annoying. The topic of the article, not the person should make me want to click. Joke's on them. I don't click any articles anymore. I am untouched by algorithm!
