Me: Spit in my mouth My T4T date: (Rewatching Prince of Darkness 1987)

I want a remake of this so bad! The story was brilliant and I want it fleshed out more. The special effects were a bit disappointing after watching The Thing and some of his other work and the romantic story either needed cut or fleshed out more but like this is one of my favs of his.

Omg that film traumatised me for years. I stayed up late watching it with my older brother and his friends when they were babysitting me. Big mistake. Huge.

I know Lisa Blount was probably not feeling well up to it by then, but I would have loved to see a sequel released at around 1997. Have Jameson Parker, homeless and miserable and hanging around that church while waiting for an apocalypse so he can see his (almost going to be maybe) girlfriend again.

When I read How the Hippies Saved Physics, David Kaiser, 2013.ll, and he talked about the quantum physicists breaking into Stanford labs in dead of night, doing a bunch of acid and trying to connect to other dimensions, I immediately thought of this movie. The physicists were all fine…sort of.
