Or just put up with the likelihood that I'd be bored at parties on the off-chance I'd actually have fun. It's a party con. I dunno. As of Saturday I had no interest in coming back. Now I'm thinking I might.

But I also know I sort of "do cons wrong" where I'm there in no small part for the merch, and I really enjoy going to panels that interest me. Maybe I should've just gone out of my way to insert myself into other groups more?

But my Sunday was excellent. I had opportunities to socialize with old friends + meet a bunch of new ones. And I spent the whole evening having a wonderful time with a group of people all because a homie asked if I would want to tag along (hi thanks @dre3mrr.bsky.social 💕)

My Friday and Saturday weren't great (after an hour of waiting for the ONE panel I really wanted to see, I went to do other things since it seemed like it'd get cancelled due to technical issues). Also just... lines. Lines everywhere. Egregious lines everywhere.
