yeah i would expect fission to overall improve performance from more parallelism

i also don't know the reasoning but i know they warned extension developers about performance issues caused by background scripts with android's implementation of fission

ironically had a very similar experience at NYP while boarding the northeast regional to boston just now

gtnh doesn't* include it but goes out of its way to be compatible *technically it includes foamfix which bundles a version of ears that only includes vanilla bugfixes and not new features

it's a client mod for basically every minecraft version ever adds a ton of things to the skin layout modrinth.com/mod/ears

if you type xyzzy in the browser console on the ears manipulator it adds a chest slider (it's hidden by default because the dev used to be worried about controversy, afaik xey stopped caring but havent updated the site since)

for modded you could try adding ears data

this limit is in the open source part of XNU so you can bypass it by building your own kernel, alternatively on release builds you can bypass it if you find a way to spoof AppleInternal khronokernel.com/macos/2023/0...

qemu can boot arm64 macOS 12 guests but only by running on a macOS host with Metal passthrough. i guess that might bypass the 2 macOS VM limit though

macOS guests on macOS hosts are fine but they have a limit of 2, x86_64 macOS guests on non-macOS hosts are the same as any other Hackintosh, arm64 macOS guests on non-macOS hosts are (currently) impossible because you need a Metal driver
