I listened to a posh #Labour person decrying the #StatePension triple lock yesterday. She said that it isn't the best tool to avoid pension poverty. The State Pension isn't for pensioners to avoid poverty but for a decent standard of living in old age. #libdems enacted it for a very good reason!

#StatePension #Labour are making cuts. My partner retired in May this year, the previous year NI contributions to 5 April 2026 not included by HMRC so he gets less than a full pension. Is this now policy to defraud millions of people each year?? Don't forget that year not credited is compounded.
