I honestly wish Elizabeth Olsen kept her accent from AOU. It wasn’t that bad.

I have never read a Ghost Rider comic.

It's still such a banger. The opening alone is so emotionally heavy and effective. I have my disputes/issues with Gunn, but I can't dispute he mostly understands the humanity of characters.

Just checked and it is still playing at my local theater, despite being on digital and streaming everywhere. It doesn’t have tons of screens still but it’s wildly impressive to see how long and how far this movie has held out.

Well deserved and long overdue!

All this shows is they're banking on a larger sum of sales coming on PS5 and want to protect that. Not that that's a surprise. GTA V in general sold better on PS3 and same for re-releases on PS4 and this gen.

I think one of the big W’s for all these movies that I see in all the credits is Sarah Halley Finn, who is the casting director for the MCU. Just some phenomenal work that she’s done as well as in some non-MCU work like THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI & EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE.

On to GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014) Loved seeing this in theaters with my mom. Let’s see where it sits.

The MCU getting Robert Redford for TWS is still a top 5 flex, imo. Right up there with getting Bridges, Kingsley (even if wasted), Hopkins, and Washington. Serious acting chops all around.

Okay, so I actually do enjoy this movie now. The emotional depth that they go through to interrogate Tony’s PTSD is well done and Pearce’s Killian is so fun to hate. He’s a charismatic scumbag. Never thought I’d ever appreciate this after years of disliking it.

MCU rankings so far. Rankings haven’t changed from how I had things before.

Didn’t change my mind much about The Avengers after finishing. Now on to IM3… here’s hoping I change my views on it. I mostly didn’t like it because of how they used Ben Kingsley.

Natasha mentioning how she started young in The Avengers hits different when you have the context of Black Widow in mind.

Now on to THE AVENGERS (2012)… Let’s see if I can stomach it. I absolutely love MCU Phase One because it’s all so artistically distinct but this one is just… bad, imo. It hasn’t aged well at all after all that hype settled.

The ending of The First Avenger always breaks me a little. Hayley Atwell just sells that whole bit to perfection.
