I understand the instinct to say this, but also I feel like that gets into “aren’t you ashamed of yourself” and I feel like nobody is proud of using twitter unless they’re a total chud, so I try not to delve into the shame aspect of leaving?

CORRECTION: You are probably addicted to the stress and relief and likes and stress again cycle so you will miss it on and off the way someone misses a cigarette after they quit. Then, eventually, you will not miss it.

You CAN be traumatized just by participating in or closely observing harmful, hateful, reactionary, or disturbing content. You don’t need to stay. You won’t miss it. I fucking don’t

I feel you!! I had to quit TikTok like 3 months into using it- the algorithm started showing me disturbing shit. No app with its own algorithm for what to show you is really close to healthy imo
