AI researchers can sure believe all this but biomedical research "curing entire disease classes" involving human subjects takes time. And should take time.

Hiring freezes all around. Except for Assist Prof something-AI! Funding cuts. So don't do anything novel. (Who knows how long my lab will last? Instead, fund more AI and AI and... we don't need hard-earned data or methodology. We want more numbers from the magic ball! Sorry. Got honest for a sec.
