if you want a different angle like an over-the-shoulder not mounted to your desk, then you could use a tripod

depends on what angle you want, but i use two desk clamps with straight telescoping arms. one clamps to the desk, the other clamps to the first to form a 90 degree angle over my monitor, where i point a camera over my keyboard www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/17...
