I've never seen Laura Dern wear the black hat in a film, either as the villain or the anti-hero. Perhaps there is one I'm not thinking of...but Linney can play the shit out of a villain.

I recall during Trump 1 I was in a bar talking with a friend about politics, and were both very critical of the administration and the GOP generally. A woman came overheard us and came up to express genuine surprise that a couple of white dudes would hold these opinions.

I had the privilege of working with Senator Dracula on my bill offering tax cuts to family-owned mortuaries. While we disagreed on much and his horrible embrace has left me unable to endure sunlight, I'll always remember his amusing little jokes about exsanguinating my staff.

Saddened to hear my good friend the Finger Taker has passed away. I never agreed with him about amputating people's fingers in his dungeon, but I'll always remember the collegial good times, and most of all his great sense of humor. What laughs we had. Condolences to Ginny and his whole family.
