"Go tell it to the Spartans" Track and report https://iceout.org/ For the After Times "It ain’t illegal if there’s no law.” Trump—a power without conscience. Hey, hey Trump—how many people did you kill today?

Once manufactured goods prices go up for any reason, unless market conditions require it, they don't come down. 'Success' in today's corporate world is judged by last quarter's earnings. Tariffs are a tax on the end consumer.

Trump is proof of the Peter Principle: eventually, confidence outruns competence.

In Iran-speak: We will hold our fire if the US does also. (This does not apply to our proxy units.) Some deal that is ...

It's a conspiracy!

Who do you think pays for the batteries? The utilities consumers do in the the rates that they're charged. That's how a public utility regulation works.

Why should data centers deserve any tax breaks, they do not directly benefit the community? They are just being built to make a profit with minimal employment or benefit. Force them by zoning to use industrial brownfields without costly environmental cleanups--they can have that tax break.

That may be true, but who ultimately pays for those batteries? If they're primarily benefiting large commercial users, why should all utility customers foot the bill? That's the flaw in that logic.

A building has to have potable water by law. "Water cannot be used for cooling." They have built cold storage warehouses for 100 years that do not use water for cooling. The developers want cheap resources to use—if this trims the data center owner's operating margin—too bad.

It's not like there's no basis for this, especially in Europe, France and Belgium, in particular. www.dw.com/en/germany-i...

$27,500,000 for 250 "government equipped" Cadillac Escalades. Why announce that and create a talking point? Trump could have just buried that in "the fine print."

Trump will always be Captain Chaos

Whatever your opinion of Trump's war with Iran is—it most likely will end badly—just like everything else Trump does.

I just don't see it. CBP can't prove that any evidence of anything was destroyed—that's apart from the fact any "alleged evidence" was destroyed by the CBP's own hand.

The Boerboel is a South African breed of mastiff-type working dog developed for farm guarding and protection. A Boerboel might fight a mountain lion to a draw. A mature male weighs ~150–180 lb. Most Mastiffs are huge muscular dogs.

With a pilot and co-pilot if there is an emergency--BIG DIFFERENCE. I am in a mid to small size city-metro area. Fiber internet is unavailable in much of this county. Soon here -- they promise. Where else could I afford a 4BR house on an acre with single income--house is free and clear now.

The thing I remember from Amsterdam was how bad it feels walking on those damn cobblestones they have in the City Centre area. We took a taxi from the airport after once trying to negotiate the over crowded trains from Schiphol with large checked baggage.

I don't see driverless vehicles in large numbers outside a few dense cities. I think you're exaggerating by assuming your local experience applies nationwide. And if I'm riding a driverless bus in traffic with 40 other people, I want some serious travel insurance.

I'm retired now and don't commute to work. If you live on Long Island and commute on a train to NYC, then hail a cab to work from the station it may time efficient and cheaper than driving or about the same. But back then I was riding the cheap seats trying to pay the rent and save up to buy a car.

000

By "smart" you mean driverless? A driverless bus with 40 passengers--what could go wrong?
