Ah, to be blocked by Woods! Politics aside, he is a fine actor. In the doc, when you watch him discuss the real-life nuns who are depicted in the film who were murdered in El Salvador, you can hear an anger in Woods' voice that in a way sounds very familiar now.

We as well, Sean! The Z Channel curator Jerry Harvey sadly became a villain later in life, but when you watch the film, it's astounding to see how many neglected films he championed that were eventually saved or lauded. In the doc, Woods also speaks on the hack job Leone's Once Upon a Time in Amer.

It always breaks our hearts when we see it "Buckaroo Banzai will return in Buckaroo Banzai Against the World Crime League." Most of the main cast: Lithgow, Lloyd, Weller, Barkin, and Goldblum are still very much alive and working. Just sayin'

A film that we reviewed a couple of weeks back. That space in the middle that we're all in now. It's a short, 74-minute feature that delivers its core message in a subtle fashion, but in the end, it's resounding. Very good list on a massively underrated actor. It's funny that you should mention MASH, as we always remember Hermann from this odd little film that he made with David Ogden Stiers in the early 80s called Harry's War about an accountant who fights the IRS. It's one of his rare lead roles, too!

That's an excellent top five for Natalie! Glad you ranked This Property Condemned so high. For us, we have a fondness for Inside Daisy Cover. It's flawed for sure, but Mulligan's direction is solid, and the cast including Wood, Redford, Ruth Gordon and Christopher Plummer, McDowall is outstanding.
