If you can afford to, have the time, and the inclination, a form of self care I highly recommend is cooking yourself a comfort meal. Something that just takes you to a good place. I did not do that. I made pizza. My comfort meal takes a crock pot and like 8 hours. And is really a winter meal.

I love doing this as a GM and you can see it in a lot of what I do: "You walk into a room with shelves and shelves of books on various scientific disciplines - what is a book on the shelf that you are surprised to see, because it doesn't seem to belong?" Instant added flavor and nuance.
