I still have my copy. Randy was a reporter for the SF Chronicle. I grew up in the Bay, so was familiar with him, but when book came out I was working as a RN/NP in Multnomah Co's HIV Clinic. 6 young men died that summer, one holding my hand. I still cry when I think about them, so many years ago.
