🤣 FORREAL! Baasha sleeps around too but she doesn’t have an attachment to the people. She talks a lot of shit about Vox when furious but also feels he’s one of a kind, no one will ever be him or take his place. She never says that aloud ofc 💀but she is prone to visible annoyance with Katie and Val

My headcanon is when Vincent became a talk show host he relocated to a new studio in New York. Eventually Sheila decided to move there. New York allowed interracial marriage before the 60s and that allowed them to be together! (2/end)

Okay this is a two part reply lmaoo They met in Delaware where anti-miscegenation was in effect. So, they started off as friends who were interested in what the other had a career in! Sheila worked for a Black Newspaper, Vincent was a weatherman. But there was always something more there. (1)

It’s not uncommon for them to discuss separation every few years, but Baasha isn’t going anywhere. Cause those bits of Sheila still love those figments of Vincent. Vox himself privately wonders how things got like this.

She loves Vox but no longer has the words or ability to convey it beyond gestures or claims. Furthermore because she and Vox are very similar in ambition. There are moments where she considers herself the driving force in the relationship while he also considers himself to be so.

Years and years of (further) corruption and (further) giving into one’s vices made the concept of love warped. Baasha in particular has a difficult time being sentimental. She’s a ‘modern woman,’ she’s a hashtag girl boss. Sex and flirtation is fine, but bearing your heart? No.
