So the optometry place says her prescription is a year old and has to be done again. That's a way to squeeze money out of an old lady. That's horrible.

Off to the optometrist in a bit. Mom has lost her glasses in the hullabaloo of the past week. She says she didn't have them Saturday in the ambulance. They're not in her room. I've looked everywhere. Expenses are mounting and she's on a fixed income. I'm gonna try to help without her knowing.

I'm so worried about Mom. She's having vivid hallucinations. She called so much that I turned on 'do not disturb' last night. She's not letting me get any rest. I feel really guilty. I told her I'd always be there for her....but I can't if I'm not well. That's the mire I'm in....torturing myself.
