This would be a massive blow. Our federal leaders refuse to invest in transit like every other advanced nation does.

The House's proposed legislation—supported by GOP & Dems—would cut overall authorized transit funding by 15% compared to the current law, and reduce potential funding for projects like new lines by 45%.
We can't afford to build Ballard light rail in the next 20 years but also we don't have time reconsider our approach. Seems like a lot of cognitive dissonance.

I took a friend to Downtown Bellevue to get lunch after riding the 2 Line across the lake and the miserable pedestrian environment turned him off pretty quickly.
Ryan PackerI am super proud of Bellevue for restricting right turns on red at 6th and 110th in front of the downtown light rail station. You're doing great, sweetie. It's just time to expand that to more intersections downtown.
