Also policing for the bubble was more expensive. Estimated at £250k per game. And they shut roads in and out of both cities to get the coaches in, plus the bridges over the motorway too. Needless expense

I’ve done these games since the 90s and if anything the trouble is getting less but they’ve gone more draconian despite evidence of it being needed not being there. Really angers me, but sadly there’s some on both sides who see it as validation of the rivalry

Last game by train didn’t have a single issue from the home fans but the minute we stepped off the train got battoned by police for no reason. Had a 17 year old autistic nipper (who we’ve since lost rip) and had to push him in the middle of us to avoid the batons.

The football supporters association have been looking for someone to take a case against them for decades but they won’t fund it so no one does. We’re one of a couple left in the country and the rest have been gotten rid of, it genuinely angers me they can get away with it

It’s just pointlessly over the top. I went there by train for the night game in the cup and there were less arrests than at the league game by the bubble last season. It ruins the day out and criminalises normal people just wanting to go to the game
