The more media attention the WNBA gets the more I hate the media itself. Nobody cared that the Sparks won big a few nights ago, not even ESPN, who aired the game. But THIS gets the media attention? Sports really needs gatekeeping to keep all of these people out of the discussion.

I remember when the Wii Shop was locked down and strict, and people complained a lot. They demanded a much looser approval process. Now the eShop is as open as can be, and the same people complain it's too loose. Isn't this just the gaming version of the libertarian town problem?

Something about all the talk of not watching anything on CBS is that a lot of it assumes that people (outside of boomers) actually watch anything on there that isn't football, Colbert or 60 minutes.

I feel like I haven't heard this said enough (if at all). But the thing that makes bad fandoms a thing is that a lot of people on social media are just wildly antisocial and everyone just kinda ignores that specifically.
