what is grimace?

fkn love the phrasing and yeah, it really is like that. they don't grow them commercially cause they don't ship well (like most heirlooms) but when you get them fresh from the vine - idk ambrosia?

ironically enough the Cherokee purple started my heirloom journey. since then I've grown and loved big rainbow, paul robeson and brandywine - all of which are enormously worthy yet the Cherokee purple remains my favorite

they are my absolute favorite.
