It’s awful. They did it to educators & healthcare workers during the height of the Covid pandemic as well. They incited fury against public servants. I think a few parents regretted behaviors when they had to homeschool or their kids got sick/hospitalized. It shouldn’t go that far though.

While I agree that legislators should be known for how they voted, in red states with Republicans “representing” us, they will likely get reelected anyway. In the meantime, those who oppose them won’t be able to vote because we’re stripped from the rolls. Rinse and repeat.

Do tell. Send a link of any country that has had some sort of universal healthcare and then switched back to the US model using insurance companies. I’d really be interested to read about that.

Every 2028 Dem presidential contender should promise to sign a #MedicareForAll bill. We see citizens in other countries. We travel outside the US (gasp). It’s ridiculous our taxes don’t support our needs here in the US. Rather, they pay for bombing brown people. 😡

I’ve been in similar situations. At the time, I didn’t know to speak up and ask for help because I thought it meant I wasn’t a good Mom. I didn’t know there are people with time and/or disposable income that would be happy to provide assistance. It’s a way we can all pay it forward.

Just a thought. If you mention your dilemma at the food bank or local food pantry, I know they would put you in contact with a volunteer who could take care of your needs. Maybe they could even pick up the items for you or provide a bus pass. There are people who would LOVE to help. 💙

I only moved in 6 months before I had the panels installed. I paid Oct - April of the next year. I honestly don’t remember and I wasn’t paying my bills online at the time so I can’t look it up.

It’s entirely dependent on the people in support of either of those rather than the viability of the plans. Unfortunately, the people who support the data centers have the money.

I bought a car during Covid. I found what I wanted online at a local dealership & asked the sales person to drive it to my house. It worked. They were desperate for sales & I needed a car. This wouldn’t work for everybody, but it was a great solution for me. 5 stars. Would recommend.
