I was speaking more to the sentiment that he had everything going for him, I don't think he did. I think his life was falling apart, no one could stand him, and his ego couldn't handle it. I also don't think more-people-than-not's own sister think they could be a mass murderer--that says...a lot...

From what I've heard and read, he was disliked by nearly everyone he had involvement with (peers, students, professors), so there was clearly something wrong personality-wise.

It's scary to me that we're getting pushed closer and closer to a two-party system. I've been hearing for decades at every election "it's too important, we gotta vote strategically", but when do we get to vote out of hope and optimism instead of fear and avoidance?

I voted NDP and it split the vote. Liberals have never placed well here and the Liberal candidate didn't even live in the riding. She didn't do anything to earn support, she ran "because they asked her to".

The new electoral district Castlegar sits in (which is different from both Trail and Nelson...for some reason...?) has a huge Okanagan portion now. It was impossible to determine who to vote for, what with the Liberal candidate not even living in the riding. 😵‍💫
