My feed right night: Yeah, sure Butch Cassidy and the Sun Dance Kid was great but Sneakers is where it is at.

If you’re in Vancouver this summer definitely check out “The Two Gentlemen of Verona.” I’m no art critic but this @bardonthebeach.bsky.social production was delightfully redone with 80s vibes and the cast just wanted to have fun. It was fantastic.

Whoa! 2 Billion... I remember when we were excited to hit 1 million on what we then called our "Dashboard of Vanity." So many good people helped make this landmark possible... Routeware Sends 2 Billion Recycling Reminders—Thanks to You routeware.com/blog/routewa...

I couldn't imagine a starker piece outlining how America lost the future. Literally driving into a deadend from a economic, sustainability and climate perspective. One day a future Jared Diamond will write about this period of US politics. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

There’s a Race to Power the Future. China Is Pulling Away.Beijing is selling clean energy to the world, Washington is pushing oil and gas. Both are driven by national security.www.nytimes.com

You have been kidnapped and a character from the last tv show you watched is trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you? Please tell my family I loved them and that we had a good run. Also. Don’t watch random television on a plane.

For the third time this week I'm sitting in an audience as a government official presents, *using my own slides,* to talk about how they are implementing at country scale, concepts learnt in a class I taught. It's mind blowing.

Also, an absolute delight to spend time with the Japanese Digital Agency - who have been generous with their time and deeply engaging to talk to. A double joy to have former students among them doing amazing work! Very interesting work happening here.

Sunny day in Tokyo. Let’s see how the IMF crowd responds to why the macroeconomic impacts of government digital transformation.

Could not agree more. I remember when @jayrosen.bsky.social included something I wrote online as course material. I reached out and he was so generous and curious to engage.

Congratulations to Jay Rosen on his retirement after long and proud academic service. It's hard to think of scholars who've had more impact on their field, and have been kinder to interlopers like me. Glad you are leaving the academy but not the field, friend: pressthink.org/2025/06/some...
