This feels ableist. I've heard "go outside more," or "you'll get used to the temp." Except my body doesn't. I'm literally dealing with a UV induced rash agitated by the humidity RN just from being in a car going to an appointment for 20 minutes 2 days ago.

I'm intolerant to heat and allergic to UV rays. Absolutely not. I don't use AC much bc I keep the house dark and fans going on low, but on humid hot days you better believe I'm turning on the AC to at least 70°. 'you acclimate.' My chronic health conditions disagree 🤣🤣🤣
