Tradition ties policing to masculinity in roles of protector & maintainer of order. ICE agents disrupting the peace and CREATING danger, plus Ms. Good’s being killed by a man so unmasculine that he couldn’t handle cheeky disrespect, became perversion. Hence visceral backlash and panicky defense.

According to this morning’s NYTimes, at least two of the Brown University students on campus during yesterday’s (Dec 13) fatal mass shooting had survived ANOTHER school shooting in their past. Insanity.
