Alright y'all I'm gonna go enjoy my offline life for a while. Try not to get in trouble.

It's not an accident or a surprise that yet another racist white lady has added transphobia and homophobia to her bag of tricks, either. Gender and sexuality and race are all tied together when it comes to bigotry - so much of the violence leveled at Black women is about gender policing, too.

Idk why we are once again rehashing the 2024 election, leftists, but here's my two cents: as a trans person I'd be safer right now if we had managed to elect Harris. It would have been, at best, damage control /fire dampening. But that's not nothing.

Literally this afternoon was discussing with one of my oldest friends how many copies of Stone Butch Blues we've each bought over the years, because we keep giving it away to people who need it.

There are many beautiful, loving photos of Leslie Feinberg & Minnie Bruce Pratt from their decades of partnership as lovers, activists, & writers, but this is my favorite. I have a framed copy on my shelf. A thing abt being queer is we don't rly have direct ancestors who lived lives like ours.

Sitting here with a new love, my head in her lap, talking about our broken hearts that led us here. This feels so easy and right.

Today I went and spent the afternoon with my ex-spouse's baby brother, who is kind of going through it right now. We played indoor putt-putt and some arcade games, and we drove around talking for a while. I'm grateful for a life in which I mostly get to maintain relationships like this.
