The fact that there are (sorry, was) abandoned whales in tanks at a marine park in Ontario is so deeply upsetting to me. Great we closed the park, yay, and just…kept the animals there anyway, with less oversight than ever. We’re the worst even when we’re trying to be better. We don’t deserve whales.

At which point I contacted the seller to see if she could send it back, and 3 days after they sent a replacement by express post, it arrived on my porch despite still saying it was en route to the uk (apparently by rowboat).

I’ve never had any issues sending to Australia 🤞 but I have had issues sending and recieving packages that had to pass through the US doing shit like this. One I remember clearly, came from the uk, sat in New York for 6 weeks (I’m about a day’s drive away) then appeared to go back to the uk

It’s not salty! Not like a homemade playdough would be. It’s the normal amount of sweet for a white sponge, it’s just…really weird. It also doesn’t taste like too much baking soda, I genuinely can’t figure out what she did.

One of my bestest friends ever baked me an early birthday cake and even though she warned me, and I knew she had a history of bungling baked goods, but how she made it taste like playdoh I will never know. It’s one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

The first trimester all you wanna do is sleep. I have never felt bone deep exhaustion like that in my life before or since. But I managed to somehow score a room all to myself with a huge bed??? It was marvellous. I was with koyama and her sister and they kept bringing me food? Wonderful.

Feeling super down today for multiple reasons. Thank goodness for Jimothy, or this weekend would have really sucked.

Doing an online store update tomorrow at 1pm est with some leftover ceramics work after my last market and some other new products!

My favourite convention was the SPX I did very early in my pregnancy because I spent about 80% of the weekend blissfully asleep in my room. It’s nice to see everyone, but sleeping was better.

I don’t get it, I think it’s maybe my favourite Pixar movie ever??? I absolutely adore it.

But I have a whole group chat just for sharing raccoon memes so like…my algo was primed.
