The programmer who was personally responsible for Guilty Gear Strive's rollback was asked to work on Avatar, but decided to pass on it because Mike Z worked at the studio. But hey, at least you got Mike Z!
𝐔𝐧𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐛It's interesting that people who try to cape for Mike like to play up his skills as a programmer because he made a game engine, but famously he's not very good at implementing features, and online components have always been something he fucking sucks at. The idea that he's necessary is comical.
