California argued to protect workers at Charter Spectrum against the merger with Cox but only allowed it with the caveat that Spectrum wouldn't outsource jobs. Well if you are in California please repost this because Spectrum is breaking that promise. They are in fact immediately outsourcing.

So... Cox is being purchased by Charter Spectrum. Then once that's finalized Comcast is going to buy Spectrum. Meanwhile ALL spectrum jobs are being outsourced to an AI company and India. No offense to people who live in India, we know you need jobs but not like this 😔

Welp unfortunately we were KINDA correct... 🥺 Technically the whole department is being laid off but transitioning over to being contractors under a different company that uses a ton of AI 😵‍💫🤦🏻‍♀️ The contract will last for a couple of months with the new company having discretion after that. 😔

Currently wondering if Thor's company is about to do a mass layoff. 😥 They gave less than 24 hours notice about a mandatory all hands meeting. The company has been "training" AI for a couple of years now and tbh with how shitty companies are about AI bullshittery we are definitely worried.

Unfortunately I had to kinda go "bitchmode" vs pet pharmacy because it's been over a week since putting in her prescription for her seizure medicine and I have yet to hear back from them. Her meds are running low and I'm worried that they won't refill it in time causing us to go to the ER Vet 😔😥
